EBR Works: Excellent Service with Middleman FFL & California Compliance Work

I contacted EBR Works to have a somewhat expensive semi-auto shotgun made to comply with California Law by replacing the collapsible stock with a fixed stock.

Mike from EBR Works promptly responded to my initial email and provided me with pricing and instructions for shipping the shotgun and fixed stock. The pricing was very reasonable and was lower than my previous middleman FFL which I had used many times over the last several years.

The shotgun I ordered (from a different company) was backordered for much longer than I expected and it took over 11 months to finally ship to EBR Works. Mike was very patient and actually followed up with me several times to confirm the shotgun was still waiting to be shipped to him.

Once the shotgun shipped I ordered the fixed stock and had it delivered to EBR Works. EBR Works notified me as soon as they received both the shotgun and fixed stock. To my surprise EBR Works converted the shotgun and immediately shipped it to my local FFL the next day. This was a pleasant surprise as the middleman FFL I used previously often took several months and multiple calls and emails from me before getting my order shipped out.

I asked my local FFL, who is an armorer and gunsmith, to inspect the shotgun to confirm there were no issues. My local FFL told me the work done by EBR Works was performed well and there were no issues.

I just started the DROS and was able to inspect the shotgun myself. The shotgun is in perfect condition and the work done by EBR Works was indeed excellent.

I am very pleased with EBR Works' services, communication and pricing, and I plan to use them again soon for more compliance work.

Everything I've heard about EBR has been solid. They seem to be a great replacement now that Phil is retired.

I would update your thread title and include EBR in it.
