Default Utah/CA CCW question…

Would getting a CA CCW permit affect getting or renewing a Utah CCW permit?

Default Utah non-resident permit

Utah requires that if you live in a state or city/county that issues you are required to have a permit from them in order to get a Utah non-resident permit. When I lived in California in Los Angeles county they didn't issue then. Once I moved to Virginia and converted my Virginia non-resident permit to a Virginia resident permit I sent a copy of that when I did my Utah renewal.

Utah makes an exception, for California, as far as having to have to have an in state permit. You can get one without a California permit. My guess is the only thing that would cause issues getting a Utah permit would be any type of recent arrests or convictions.
