Default Driver's license check and gun permit

Hi, have a question for the LEOs on this forum. First of all, thank you for keeping us safe.
My question is whether during a traffic stop an officer can see that the driver owns a gun when checking his/her driver's license.
I am sorry if this question has already been asked and answered, but I could not find it.

Thank you in advance.

I've wondered this before. Would my car be searched because I am a firearm owner and it pops up with my drivers license. would that be enough PC to conduct a search of me/car/residence at any time?

No, your car cannot be searched because you own firearms. Probable cause means there is a reasonable beleif you have broken the law. Owning a firearm is not reason to beleive you are a criminal.

We would have to request a separate run for the AFS versus your DMV. We don't automatically get everything about you on an initial traffic stop. Far from it.
