Default Gun Safe dealer in Los angeles ?

Looking to buy an actual gun safe and wanted to know if theres a recommended dealer in the LA area. should deliver and be an authorized reseller of some reputable brands.
Actual showroom to touch and try out is a big plus. Not a huge fan of ordering something from a catalog if I cant even try out the locking mechanism or see the workmanship of a demo unit.

Dean Safe Co. Great prices and service. Bought there and have had them move it several times. Quality place.

Dean safe.
They have multiple showrooms and sell several different manufacturers full lines.
They also deliver and install.
No other dealer stocks/sells more safes in the area.

I own three Sun Welding Safes. They are all American in Simi Valley north of LA. They are made with PLATE doors/bodies and made in USA / in Simi Valley. Never a problem with the safes or their mechanisms. I purchased the first one over 20 years ago. I went with the Cavalry series with 1/2" plate doors and 1/4" plate bodies and stainless steel liners.

Just go to Dean Security for a safe; full range of things, even top-tier stuff they can get but is so tip-of-the-top, it's not in their showroom - but they can get it and deliver.

You wanted a quality safe - skip Costco.

Try to get them to bring it into your house or up a couple stairs or even to remove it from the pallet and get it onto the ground for you...

On that note, their delivery guys are amazing and no nonsense. They really know how to deliver LARGE safes (the kind you can stand in) and do it well without damaging anything.

Dean safes got mine down stairs and thru a tight hall quickly and without damage.

I measured my doorways and bought the biggest safe that would fit with 1" to spare. Those guys pulled it off.

Costco only sells Residential Security Containers. They do not sell real safes or vaults.

There was, last time I looked, a branch of Dean Safe Co here on the westside of Los Angeles, near the intersection of the 405 and Washington Place (not Blvd, that's another Washington) in Culver City. On the corner of Washington Place and Sawtelle, just the other side of the 405 from Tito's Tacos.

Depending on where you are it might save a trip to the valley for the OG Dean Safe Co. although with traffic as light as it is right now I guess it doesn't make much difference.

I have bought several safes from Dean Safes. Great service.
If you want to see real safes.
1st Security Safes
901 S Hill St
Downtown LA
Check out the ISM safes. Jewelry safes.
I have worked with them for years. They have moved my TL30 safes.
They sell used safes also.

ISM- torch and explosion resistant.(sorry. I went somewhere else in my mind for awhile. I started dreaming of owning one AGAIN).

They are my favorite.

BTW, most all "gun safes" are, as another member posted, actually residential security containers, as defined by Underwriters Laboratory. If you want an actual "safe", be prepared to pay a lot more $$$, and figure the logistics of moving something that will be of substantial weight; if it is indeed a real safe, and large enough to hold rifles, it will be very heavy. The location it's going will also have to be such that will support the weight.

Sturdy Safe, made in Fresno I believe. I put together a group buy of about 14 people and we all got a 15% discount.
