Is that $99 for the slide, or the machining of YOUR slide?

It is for the slide with LR01 machining, I am not sure what that is, but if you read the details, it is strip down slide; no internals, sights, barrel, etc.

It's a great deal. I almost bought one, and one of their $55 barrels. But I have too many random half projects already and talked myself out of it.

Can't add it to my cart! You can't machine an RMR cut on your own slide for that price. Must be sold out. Oh well.

Still going to need a cerakote or something. While itís been blasted it has minimal resistance to corrosion I believe

Doesn't look too bad as is. Maybe I'll paint or coat it. It's one of their $55 closeout barrels. Total isn't that much more than just a conversion barrel on my Glock 22. It shoots and ejects fine with the stock ejector.

Looks great! Hopefully mine looks and works like yours. Still looking for a barrel, internals, and irons. Ordered the Holosun yesterday thanks to Outdoorsman1986.

Midway has the Rival Arms slide kit on sale for 62 bucks. It was $56 when I ordered it last week. Don't really know much about Glocks but assembly was relatively quick and easy. Had to buy a channel liner insertion tool. 18 bucks. I think the Aim Surplus kit is probably good enough for $40 and it includes the channel liner tool.

it's back in stock...

https://lonewolfdist.com/parts/slide...r01-machining/

side note: I wanted to order this FDE Cerekoted Slide from AimSurplus that is $99 bucks with a RMR cover, but they will not ship if credit card billing Info does not match Shipping Address.
https://aimsurplus.com/products/aims...glock-17-gen-3

The Alpha Wolf slide is made of 17-4 PH1150 stainless steel, does not have the RMR recoil posts or whatever it's called.

The AimSurplus Slide is made from 8620 carbon steel and has the RMR recoil posts

Is one better than the other, will it matter after years of shooting?

8620 properly heat treated is better for wear, 17-4 is better for corrosion resistance.

The lack of posts is probably OK on a 9mm that you can keep the screws torqued tight with Loctite on and not remove once on. Probably would require re-zero if removed to replace a battery if you have a sight requiring that. For sure, the posts are better and I was disappointed with that on the Lone Wolf. But for $99, I can't bitch too much.

I bought this and decided to go in a different direction so if someone is interested in this deal being that it’s sold out, message me and I’ll sell to you at cost. If not, I’ll just start the return process.

Back in stock today, ordered a second one just now...going to give it to my machinist buddy to go hog wild on...something unique.

My first one came today, beautifully machined...for 99 bucks...this is an insane deal.
