Default 223 Brass - Crimped or Not?

I have about 5-6K of FC 223 and am unsure what is ring-crimped and what isn't. From what I have searched/read, some FC brass is crimped and some isn't . FC 223 stamped seems to be said not be crimped - FC with a year stamp is said to be crimped but I'm confused as to what I'm looking at. In the attached photo, what's what?

Doesn't matter to me, they all get the reamer, too much time to figure out which are or not crimped. After shooting I have once fired separated from once reloaded. Same with trimming, if they are once reloaded I know they have been trimmed/checked.

Those are all crimped.
I have close to 4000 FC 223 rem. 80% are crimped.
Date on headstamp are usually crimped.

Thanks, guy's. All of it is range pick-ups that I'm in the process of selling. One guy asked if they were crimped or not - I emailed him & said they appeared to be crimped.

Honestly I haven't seem much non crimped brass. I lucked out one day when someone next to me was shooting a ton of PMC. For the past 2 year of collecting at the range they have almost always been crimped. You can see a step. If it's funneled or deep, it's because someone took the crimp off with a countersink.
Only the first is crimped in these examples.

Remember that Federal ran Lake City for over 20 years. I suspect that a lot of ammo made by Federal in the last 20 or 30 years was made in Lake City on the same lines that made military contract ammo.

Yep, looks like all the stuff in your photo is crimped. Give me a big shoebox full and I'll inspect them all to be sure and report back.

In the OP’s picture, on the bottom row the 1st, 2nd and 4th case (from the left) all appeared to have similar dimples as Lake City. Are they made by Lake City even though there are FC headstamp on them?

ALL 8 of the cases in your photo have ring crimps.

I seem to recall reading that the dimples are a code that allows tracing of that piece of brass back to the press that stamped it. I believe that both FC and LC brass coming out of the LC plant had those markings. Never looked any further than that.
