Default PU Sniper rifle

I purchased a 1944, Izhevsk PU Sniper rifle about 10 years ago. When I first purchased the rifle, I was told the rifle is authentic. I just recently tried to determine the authenticity. Fortunately, I found out it is legit, but most are fakes. I would like to share, if someone who planning to purchase a PU sniper rifle, you may want to review the link listed.

Here is by far the best reference site/page about the PU sniper
https://www.m9130.info/pu-snipers

This page covers all of the PU scopes in detail

Nice pages, but large number of photos stay blurry even after page is refreshed.

99% of the Mosins I saw for sale at pre-c19 gun shows were claimed to be 'Sniper Rifles'.

So a basic non sniper rifle Mosin would surely be valuable do to its scarcity.
