Maverick 88 + QD Mounts

Hey fellow CalGuner's, I figured I would share my first shotgun with you and show how I set it up with QD mounts. I wanted to go with QD as I already have a magpul MS4 for my PCC. I purchased the following from Amazon, and had the QD sockets installed in 5 minutes.

Front QD Mount:

Came with the correct 10/32 thread screw that fits the takedown screw on the Maverick 88 and Mossberg 500s. I used the shortest screw from the kit with a dab of loctite.



Rear Mount:

This one happened to have the correct diameter and length bolt that fits my pre drilled polymer stock. I scuffed up the hole and added a small amount of epoxy before threading in.

Neither of the above mounts are anti-rotation. The system works great for me, for under $30. Thanks for looking.

I just went with Uncle Mike's.

I had Uncle Mikes on it for a few days, but I wanted something that I could use with my MS4 instead of buying another sling.
