Right, that's the one I had. Now trying to decide between a Brush Puppy or the "small" Pig Trail. A "small" is a 8" probably 3" wide blade. That's a nice blade. The knife naming police would hate my Swamp Rat TALI (ban) Whacker collection.

Yeah, but I cannot see it.

Oh that's odd... I can load the attachment in my reply after I quoted it.

Nice one.

It's starting to loosen up and smooth out nicely...

I found it locally with a nice price match discount...

As light as it is, it is hard to see the need for a mini bugout version or a mini grip for that matter.

That doesn't mean I'm not still looking...

Now, if I can only find some CF scales for my mini Barrage...

https://knifeworks.com/civivi-tamash...6-2-pre-order/

These look pretty handy for $66 with kydex and clip. For a 4.1" blade like that if it needed kydex, at least $40.

$1500 ? That clip sucks on a $1500 knife. How can there be a $1500 Benchmade? But there it is. I'd buy a Colt Python instead.

Found this Coleman knife for $7, stop laughing it's my new Baler twine cutter once I put a lanyard on it and hang it by the bales. I use the cheap knifes because they walk off once in a while.

I like the design except for the recurve but for $7 nit picking, right? scales texture reminds me of a Kizer Klecker Liner lock I have (Ti and S35VN)... Yeah, I have a $10 Mora in the garage by the weed eater line and sprinkler heads. Dandelion roots hate the Mora. Have a few crappy Big5 liner locks in desk drawers... usually cannot bring myself to use them because I always have a knife, but... they do cut something sometimes with some effort. Tell the truth, does the flipper really work?

No matter the price, I just can't bring myself to buy made in China, especially after the Covid, and Benchmade knives because of their stand on 2nd Amendment.

Yeah, especially after Covid. I get it though, some nice knives can be made in China. Like a lot of things with nice design, sturdy engineering, good quality control, fit and finish, materials... they still cost you. Look at the fancier foreign made Spyderco's... just buy something made in Golden Colorado, USA. If they have nothing you like, buy ZT. I have a tough time buying a $300 knife not made here.

Lots of those cheaper Chinese knives are liner locks too, not many frame locks. I don't need any more cheap import liner locks. I had plenty over the years. They blow.

The Houge Doug Ritter knife is a much improved Griptllian without buying a Benchmade and funding the Democrats.

I hadn’t seen that one yet damn it definitely looks like they are doing their take on a Presidio as well! LOL!

F@#$ Benchmade glad that Houge and Ritter are beating them at their own game!!!

Maybe they can clone a Bugout next..

For those that are not aware Doug Ritter has contributed to fighting for knife rights across America.

Doug has done a lot more than contribute. He's the chairman of Knife Rights and has led the fight to overturn unjust knife laws all over the country. You can learn more here:

I couldn't resist,

it feels so light and yet it is nice and strong...

Black carbon fiber composite scales, all murdered out...

Didn't really need it, but who buys knives just because they need them...

WOW that is a surprise. USA made CASE with bearings, S35VN, flipper, frame-lock, tanto version, what???

How is the action and detent? is the detent hard to overcome or too soft? Can you give a review so I don't have to order it to find out? Is there any blade play?

I was at Sportmans Warehouse over the weekend. In the case, they had a Camillus Beast on sale for $24.99. It's a big folding knife. It is big. Anyway, I bought one, because a knife on sale is hard to pass. The factory edge is pretty decent. I gave a a stropping, and it's now a truck knife.

Looks like half price. Good sale... but that's a 3.75" blade and they say it is one of the worlds largest folders? My ZT 0452CF is 4.01" I think (diminutive light AF blade)... and the largest Cold Steels are like swords... 5.5", 7.5" (16.75" total) just saying, it is not that large a blade. Looks fun though.

I don't know about it being the biggest out there, but it is the biggest folder I have. My hands are big, and I can fully grip it, so that's a plus.

I watched a video from the Camillus site and it said it was one of the world's largest folders. I guess 9.75 OAL is large... I still have some of the huge S&W tantos from Big5. Heavy tanks, no flipper, mystery steel, blade play, classic Big5 imports.

Still had one on a back pack hahah:
