Default Help identify please

Can somebody please help me identify this old muzzleloader? Going through a deceased family members stuff and found these two gems. The repeater is a Spencer Repeater Carbine.

From what I remember, my Uncle said that he removed the firing mechanisms on all his guns when I was young and he was living with me, but not being familiar with either of these guns, I don't know what that means.

If there is anyone that would be willing to take a look at them in person and evaluate them to get them shooting again, please DM me or send me in the right direction.

Thanks!

I’m sure someone will be IMG shortly to tell you exactly what it is.

The only thing I was able find that was similar are early model of the sharps or spencer rifles. But I didn’t see any with ram rods.

Better pics and any other descriptive info would probably be helpful.
Any markings?
Any idea what caliber?
Etc.

Good luck!

Looks similar to the 1871 spencer

Okay, and now I get it, there are two different rifles. The first 2 pics appear to be the same, the 3rd appears to be the sharps/Spencer. And OP mentioned that in the first post. Reading comprehension fail.

My bad.

The Muzzleloader might be an Austrian Lorenz rifle that was available for use in the Civil War.

Are there any markings on it at all?

Here is a link with a good photo examples of a close copy of the Lorenz rifle. Takes a close look at the trigger, the location of the pins in the firing mechanism and the front metal barrel band, the shape of the wood stock, Etc.

I should make it clear I'm not an expert on old percussion cap rifles like that so I absolutely could be wrong and I hope someone here knows exactly what it is.

I know we have some percussion / "real old school" rifle collectors here.
Can anyone confirm my amateur guess or better yet actually tell them what they really have?

Absolutely love the Spencer - such an interesting mechanism.

Will add one to my collection soon.
