Agreed. I've swapped springs, polished the ramp, cleaned and lubed... It's still iffy. Even with CCI or Win plastic box Super-X it can still stovepipe. Just not a good gun. I won't even sell it because I don't sell junk, so it mostly sits. I have a model 41 and a Ruger Mark III that run flawlessly so there's just no point.

My very first gun my dad gave me when I was 12, bought it new... Was okay for about a year maybe then it just went to crap. Cheap .22 semi-autos are always going to be sketchy and this was no exception. But the saddest part, when I was 18 I pawned it for $20 and bought a bag of weed, kid you not. Lost it in pawn. How much do you think I'd pay for the gun my dad gave me when I was a kid now? For that exact gun I'd pay $1,000 and not blink... miss you dad.

Default Taurus 94 revolver

Horrible trigger pull on a double action, .22

Trying to lighten the springs only got me poor ignition.

I wonít sell it or give it away. Just sits in the back of my safe.

^^^ My dad had an Iver Johnson .22 DA revolver that would fire about every third round. When he passed we had the gun destroyed, I would have listed that as lemon #1 but it wasn't mine.

All of my guns have been good to go, except for one.

A S&W 586. It was a great firearm except for the Cylinder binding after about 20+ rds through it at the Gun Range.

I'd guess that maybe thermal expansion was the main issue, also the Extractor's Locking Bolt and Locking Bolt Spring binding.

As far as guns go I been lucky no lemons, but as for cars most of the Fords I have owned were lemons and I had them serviced at the dealer and buying the extended warranty has saved me thousands. My nephew has a Sig Mosquito that jams every mag.

A Ruger LCP, everyone online said they were super reliable but I couldn't get through 12 rounds without a malfunction. Sent it to Ruger and it had a defective barrel and slide. I've had ZERO malfunctions since I got it back.

I like how no one mentioned a Hi-point lol.

As for me, not so much a gun, but the mags on my XD has been a failure. It has the common mag swell where you can only drop the mag halfway.

I've owned a lot of handguns. The only handgun I've ever had problems with, which should come as no surprise to anybody, has been a Springfield 1911. Out of the box it was stove piping, getting ball ammo stuck on the feed ramp, etc. Typical 1911 stuff.

Otherwise I can't say I've had problems with handguns, and I've owned Glock, HK, Sig, Beretta, CZ, Browning, Ruger... the works.

Recent production (2015+) Colt 1911 Gold Cup National Match 9mm. Firing pin hole was drilled crooked causing the firing pin to stick forward and caused a ton of malfunctions as you might imagine.

Had to get the gun fixed by a custom smith - runs ball ammo great now, but still has trouble feeding flat point ammo / JHPs
