that crappy ambi paddle that snaps off is the whole reason I never paid 1200.00 for one in the marketplace. this may change that except I still won't pay 1200.00.

Whoop-de-dee.

Still waiting for the HK 10-round, one inch wide, striker-fired subcompact SIG P365-killer. Or Walther, or CZ, or Glock, or some other manufacturer that doesnít test itís products in the hands of the general gun-using public (like SIG).

Wonder how long Iíll have to wait?

I prefer the paddle... I can release the mag with my trigger finger and never have to move or break the weld of my right hand grip on the gun.

Really? You are certainly not the voice of experience as you hold onto that extra $430 like its the crown jewels.

I have put a total of 35,000 rounds down the tube of two different HK VP9's' much of it in two to three IDPA matches a month for the last four years as well as dozens of tactical training classes and range practice days equating to thousands of combat and tactical mag changes and those "crappi ambi paddles" have not snapped off or failed me once. In fact I have never had a malfunction with the guns or the mags!

No such thing as a product "leak" now days.

Just marketing with hype.

Well I was putting my cousins through the paces to see if I wanted one and was doing one hand manipulations and charging the slide off my belt and the mag release caught on my jeans pocket and snapped off. To me thatís a piece of crap. Other than that the gun felt great and was in my natural point of aim.

Iím not crazy about the higher bore axis but all in all the gun felt good. The prices have come down in the marketplace but so much other stuff to be had.

Can't imagine the VP9-B will shoot any better, plus I like my VP9 with paddle release.

Love the paddle release, way more smooth than the button, in my opinion. As I have stated before, HK = Precision crafted machinery. People who don't know, don't know.

Sounds awful. I'll keep my paddle releases on my HK's.

If I wanted an inconveniently placed pushbutton, I'd buy an old iPhone or a 1911.

Seriously? People are going to insist they like the paddle release because they dont want to feel bad about not being able to get a VP9 with a push button release. The push button release is a huge upgrade, glad HK finally came to their senses, took them long enough.

Oh, I finally see the error of my ways. You've convinced me with your sheer awesomeness. Thank you.
