I've been keeping a log of Ebay sales:

Bottomline, there's no specific pattern.

There is one or two every month , the problem is timing a coupon that isnt " from select sellers" I hate those coupons

I don't think there will be a blanket coupon this month because eBay bucks came out this month.

Edit: Looks like you can get a discount on a Dyson now...

This exactly.

Keep a running list of thing you don't need "right now" and keep them on your watch list. Then when a 20% or $15 off $75 or more coupon comes out you pull the trigger. I've always got a few things lined up. Nothing worse than panick shopping when you know the coupon is only good for another 45 minutes......

Interesting. I have some eBay bucks that I'm sitting on, but I'm hoping for a coupon to hit before I spend it. Fingers crossed!

I think the pattern is that the big ones tend to be more frequent towards the end of the quarter, in order to juice revenue numbers for the market. Some quarters are more important than others. Everyone expects Q1 to be slow for retail because it's after the Holidays. So those tend to be less impressive than end of Q3 and end of Q4 .

We're in the first third of Q4.
