The forum ran amazingly for most of today but has started hitching again.

The site sometimes works as it should, moving crisply.

However, much of the time it's still the same old problems, most noticeable of which, for me, are...

• Pages take up to 30 seconds to "do something," where they sometimes work, sometimes I get a "Reload" button, and sometimes a time out/site can't be reached message that forces me to back up and reload whatever I had in the text entry box, then do it all again.
• New posts show on the Index pages, but when you get to the thread page, the new posts are nowhere to be found and Refreshing the page doesn't bring them up. It can take hours before the new posts actually appear.

this is just a bit frustrating. Some users report fine and fast service at pretty much the same time Im getting time out issues and vise-versa. Mind you, Im not having issues with other sites or internet connection. Even more confusing, I'll get timed out trying to hit a marketplace sub, but page for Gen Firearms and Ca Handguns opens with out issue.

After 0830 I cannot get any page to open, I am lucky to get one, but then nothing after. We did have a good run for a while, but not now.

Because other difficult aspects of life are more important, people should stop being little beta cucks and deal with unusually slow website performance.

With this attitude, no wonder traditional forums are rapidly dying and being replaced by Big Tech platforms like Reddit and Discord.

The site runs extremely slowly for me. Every page takes forever to load or times out completely. This has been happening for about a month now.

Happens across multiple browsers. Are there known server issues that are being worked on?

Alternates for me, depends on which thread I'm trying to get on. Sometimes all I get is the whirling circle of death and blank page, on another thread it loads within a few seconds, nothing standard.

Slow again. This is a stretch, but the only other website I have the same problem with is Turners. I am not a conspiracy theorist by any means, but I cant help but wonder it's related. A California gun forum and a California Gun store having the same connectivity issues. I would not put is past California at all, I am not saying that is the case, but it does make me think.

Previously, if you changed the topic in your original post; say from "Musket for Sale" to "Sold", that would be reflected in the list of topics under that forum.

There are a few quirky work-arounds to most of the problems...

For months people were posting 'I can't log in' (yep, it actually happened MANY times) - no explanation how they thought they were posting... but they weren't seeing there credentials until 'refreshing' page...
