Default What do you hunt at night

I found that my PCP is safer than poison or traps and good practice.

My son the other night said I should record a few shots and put a clip together.. here is a really short clip.

BTW rats eat my wire harness in my new truck, just before I started taking action - not sure if Iíll get $5k back from these rats.

The comical turn of this thread is very funny. PCP in the manual rifle forum, not so much.

What rifle/scope combo are you using? Whatever setup your using it looks pretty effective.

Relatively low priced ATN? Impressive. Nice that those rat eyes light up for you to shoot at.

It is an FX 500 Royal PCP - the NV is from my customer and it works well for this application. Iíve removed probably close to a couple hundred rats. They get smart after awhile if youíre willing to leave a few dead ones around. It works best on a moonless night as the rats will look right at you believing you canít see them.

The PCP cost a bit more than most off the shelf hunting centerfire rifles but will put pellet after pellet in the same hole out to about 35 yards, at 50 the hole gets raged but better than most 22s, on par with my Vudoo 22.

PS the image in the scope is WAY better than the recording
