After working on Top Fuel cars along the NHRA circuit I decided to come home and get the business going that I have dreamed of for the past 20 years. I'm not here to reinvent the wheel. My business wont be huge or full time. I would actually prefer to just work out of my garage until I run out of space. So, with much thought I filed my fictitious two years ago for my company called Gun Tuners. I also have www.guntuners.com and .net on deck but not quite up to bat. Right now I am in the process of obtaining my FFL. Currently I am doing special orders for gun related parts, accessories, and some law enforcement gear. In 2 years myself and hopefully 1 other smith will be working out of my small shop near Upland. I will keep gun sales to a low roar and mostly concentrate on servicing modern firearms. Shop wise, currently I am only blasting and finishing guns with air cure and bake on like Cerakote Gun Kote and Teflon/Moly. So far flat black baked Teflon/Moly is my favorite and I think after the short learning curve that's going to change to Cerakote. I'm doing single colors or two tone only. I don't do any airbrushing or camo jobs.
