I was there today to test fire a couple guns. The place is a mess. I tried to pick up a couple trash bags full, but is really needs a clean up. I'm in, just need advanced notice.

I am interested in helping. I've done the Calico cleanup in the past with various 4x4 groups and the BLM.

What's the cost of getting a container dropped/picked up out there?

I can bring a humvee and maybe a M1102 trailer to haul stuff out, maybe more.

i was at the hemet clean up the other day. and i was cross posting to facebook calguns group trying to recruit people. One guy said that Hodge road is getting pretty bad.
So i messaged him today and he said its full of trash and we need a big turn there too, to clean it up. I also believe cannon-arms said the same thing. ill have to ask.

ive never been to Hodge road nor am i local. but maybe its time for another clean up how there? anyone have recent pics from out there? if someone is willing to "host" it, i can do my best again to recruit people. the month of july is bad for me though. bunch of stuff i need to do. but if everything works out on a date, i'd prob be willing to go out there.

I heard some guys talking at a local gun store claiming Hodge Road was closed because of fire danger?

Nothing really to burn other than the aforementioned trash.

Anybody have any intel?

Yea, was at Hodge road a few months back and it's really bad. I hosted a cleanup a few years back, you can check out the beginning of this thread. I would wait till it cools down to have a cleanup again. Just my two cents, late September or October would be good time of the year. The only thing is That you have to haul your own trash home or take it to the dump that's a few miles away like we did last time.

My family and I almost always shoot at Hodge and it's gotten pretty bad out there. I'm fairly certain I can get 6-8 guys and 3-4 full size pickups to help out...
