Anyone have a set of 45-70 dies they'd be willing to let me borrow. Stockton area. Want to see if they'll work on my dillon 550. Heard people having issues I guess

Just a heads up. I was at Bass Pro Shop in Manteca today and they were loading up the shelves with powder and primers. Alliant, IMR and Hodgegun powders. They have CCI, Winchester and Federal primers. Not much in the way of actual ammo or bullets.

Bill, remember any prices? I'm starting to see more and more components available but the prices are still a little erratic.

Primers were $4.99 per 100 for Winchester. $3.99 for CCI. Not sure what Federal was. I bought some Unique and it was $23.99 for one pound.

Federal Primers are also $3.99 per 100.
I picked up two pounds of Unique, and 500 CCI small pistol primers. There were 3 pounds of Unique left, and 6 pounds of Bullseye as well.

Are you still accepting new members? We just got our Dillon 650 today and my brother and I are working on our recipe. Have powder, bullets, shells, primers, Dillon 650 set-up. Just need a case cleaner (looking at options material, water, sonic). I'm in Roseville and my brother is in Auburn. We are member at Sac Valley Shooting Center, so we are in the Rancho area a couple times a month.

Hey guys. School has started for me and so I won't e able to make the Wednesday meetings anymore unfortunately.

Does anyone have a swager I could borrow? Have 1000 pieces of 5.56 I'd like to swage. I'm debating on buying a dillon or rcbs swager. Anyone in the club willing to loan me theirs?

Just wanted to thank everyone for the help and input. As a complete newbie, I learned a ton, and got some hands on experience running a press and loading rounds.

Ferrum (and everyone else), thank you very much for the time, patience, and supplies that you provided. I really appreciate it.

Hey all.. went to Harbor Freight today, and they have their 6 lb. (2x3 lb.) wet tumbler on sale for $49. Combined that with a 25% off one item coupon (available online), and I'm going to try my hand at wet tumbling. Also, $12 for their unconditional 1yr extended warranty, which starts after the 90-day warranty ends. I know Harbor Freight tools are cheap, and I might get flamed for it, but their warranties make their tools tolerable, and to start into wet media tumbling for $52 total, including extended warranty, isn't bad.
Now, who was it at one of the meetings that sold steel pins? Ferrum?

Aaron

Must have had a brain fart besides last night was way too hectic on my end. Hope the meeting was active and productive.

Looking ahead, will there be a December meeting?

Thanks much.

I'm in the same boat... I've kind of dropped off the face of the planet since my quarters at UCD run back to back. Ehh

I am going to hold a bit of a drawing. I have three extra Crossroads of the west gun show V.I.P. passes that expire on the 31st. If you would like to go and get in free then post and send a PM to me with a contact number so I may get a mailing address.
On Friday night I will draw two people from the names. First draw gets two passes second draw gets one. The Delmar show is scheduled on the 14th and 15th of December, Ventura and Reno both on the 21st and 22nd and Las Vegas on the 28th and 29th.

Here is the catch, you must have posted in one of the club threads prior to my offering them in this post. Making this open to any one one from any CGSSA reloading club chapter.

Oh. News tidbit. Reloading club members now get a 5% discount when ordering bullets from Missouri Bullet Company www.missouribullet.com. Contact your chapter lead for the discount code.

We can all thank Bumslie this.

Wishing you all a great Holiday season.
