I have been going through some rough family matters. I hope to get the classes going again after the new year. Going to have to limit it to one class a month. Scheduling one In Orange County for January at the new reloading shop in Anaheim. February is not spoken for just yet. Got it Inland?

Pretty much have everything... Waiting for my case trimmer and primer pocket reamer. Should have by Jan. 5th.

So, if I can make the next one, do I bring everything and learn or do I just pay and learn on the prof's stuff?

I need to learn reloading for .338LM and .30-06.

I've got 2lbs of H1000, magnum primers and plenty of brass.

I'll go to Anaheim or an I.E. Class. Makes no difference to me.

You bring yourself and maybe a book or two if you have any questions. Bring your attention and a sense of humor and sit back to enjoy the ride. Oh yeah, and DO bring a pad of paper and a pen in case you wanna take notes (You will be the first to do that though at the IE location) and I aint making fun of anyone who wants to take notes because we all learn differently, but we burn through things kinda quickly and then most of it is showing things and being physical, it just seems that taking notes will slow you down. PLUS, this is reloading, not rocket surgery. It is more of an ART than a science.

If they are gonna do 30.06 then I say bring your brass. - As a matter of fact, I DID misspeak and I do not want to correct it up there so I will correct it here, Bring your BRASS too. We do not always have extra weird calibers like 30.06 for people to use and even so, that caliber is special so neck sizing is prolly what needs to be done with it, not full length sizing. And yes, all calibers that are not 38/357/40/380/44/10/9 are weird to me...

Seeing as how I no longer work at the gun store (Yo ho yo ho the I.S. life for me!) my Sundays are free. And Bullseye Sport in Riverside is still a good place to go, BUT Ammo Bros. is opening up down near the Galeria so this will be interesting.

I would drive over from Phoenix for an I.E. class. That wouldn't be too long of a trip for me. I am loading 9mm right now, but want to start loading .308 and know I'm in over my head there. I would like to get with some knowledgeable loaders to pick their brains. This class sounds like a great opportunity.

Those of you that shoot there may want to chat with the management and help further the idea. They have opened up to the idea, posibly if there is interest from customers it will go a long way.

Careful with them.

I talked to Magnum Range but that place was rather small and they wanted like $50 or $90 an hour I think, That was prelim though. You might be able to get them to drop the rates a LOT and make it worth it.


As for the new range that opened over on Sterling, well, that place might have something to do with Warrior One I think. I am not certain, but W1 has gotten a sour reputation from a few folks that I have talked to. And by sour I mean W1 is a store that is getting to be known for being a bunch of dicks with overpriced **** that will cost you an arm and a leg and a left nut, well, not all of your left nut, just a scrape or two. I hope I am wrong, but I have seen how they treat you if you are not a know it all who has money sticking out of your pocket.

I could very well be wrong about the range, I think there were some Monthly shoots in the Riverside chapter there and they seemed to be pretty decent people but nobody that I knew Fighter Pilot did not show up so I did not go, but I read about the things online. They did not realyl say anything bad about a range in Riverside. I do NOT think it was the magnum range.

Anyways, my place is still available if you strike out. There is also a place in Rancho Cucamonga on the 9000 block of 9th called Rancho Magnum Range and I think I saw some good things about them, but I am not certain, it WAS yelp that I was reading so who knows who paid who to say what...
