No, bring it just in case. Just ask first and use your best judgment when your there. No reason not to bring it, unless you drive a VW van up the grade. In which case the extra weight might make you go backwards

This. basically shoot anytime before 12noon and you should have a safe and enjoyable experience. Its when the hangovers wear off and 1pm rolls around you start seeing the "interesting" enthusiasts show up

Yep, I think any one you ask on here will say the same thing. If I am dragging the latest I ever get there is 11 and gone by 1. The biggest advantage right now is since ammo is so GD expensive there are fewer people shooting in general.

Don't worry I've got a 400 grain 50 cal round for the black powder rifle that we can put to the test.

Hey hey! You two take it easy. I'm sorry about the gong George. You just need to beef up those hangers a little bit.
Doug I will let you shoot the gong with the muzzle loader if you want. It should be ok?

Oh hell no I wont. My 308 almost knocked G's gong over at a 100 yards. The muzzle loader would make yours do flips.

Just want to make sure someone has contacted Marborg. I think 2 roll offs should do it this time. Not so many bulky items.

I think your efforts to clean up the GF is great. I will try to be there but I am currently supposed to be working on Saturday. Consider me a maybe. (But I will try to be there).

I am a local of Santa Barbara, and have been up to the GF many times and would hate to see it closed.

The time factors are, we are not yet sure if we will have a tractor (we had two in January) so the cleanup will take us longer if we don't, but we took out forty tons of garbage in January also and there is not nearly as much garbage there this time.

Hard to say when we will finish but we should have some time to shoot afterwards.

So I am definitely free from work obligations this weekend, so you can bump my "maybe" to confirmed. Sadly I wasn't able to get anyone else, most of my pro-gun friends have move elsewhere. =\

Not a morning person, but I'll do my best to get there on time.
