Hey guys! My name is Ricky and I registered a loooong time ago as a wee young lad. Fell out of love with firearms(because I was poor then), but now that I am older with a little more money, I went in head first in the marketplace and ended up with a Glock 17, Glock 45, Sig 365 and Sig 365xl. Now looking to build my first AR and start taking training classes.
2 questions: First, is there a way to change my username(This is my old Xbox 360 gamertag lol)? Secondly, any recommendations on outdoor pistol courses? In state or out of state. Thanks!

Hello everyone
Historically tried to utilize the website for information regarding guns for a few years. Never joined out of fear of deep diving into buying more guns. Recently picked up a few pieces and figured since I’m deep diving I might as well go deeep. So far being on here has made me realize I want a few PCC and a damn 1911. 🤦🏻*♂️. Wish me luck.

From Colorado to California
I know it’s usually the other way around but I just moved here from Colorado with my family. Looking forward to this forum to help me navigate all of the in’s and out’s of being a firearm owner in California. I will have to start the concealed carry process all over again as my Colorado CCW is not valid here. I am in Riverside county which I hear raises my chances. Looking forward to interacting and learning from many of you.

Introduction
Hi, I am DK, I have been shooting since I was 18. I bought my first rifle when I turned 18, it was a Winchester 9422 lever action .22. My first revolver purchase was a Smith and Wesson M19 .357 magnum with a 4 inch barrel. My first semi-auto pistol was a Colt series 70 Government Model .45acp. The first 9mm I've fired was a Smith and Wesson M39. My first .22 pistol is a High Standard Supermatic Trophy with a fluted barrel (target gun). My first center fired rifle was a Colt AR15 sp1. I still have the High Standard and Colt Series 70. I hate selling my guns, they are like family and I missed them after they are gone! For what it's worth, I bought a Henry .22 lever action rifle, a Smith and Wesson 686 .357 magnum with a 4 inch barrel and a consignment Smith and Wesson M39 which appears unfired. It's my safe queen. I also have a used Colt Light Weight Sporter. I like to collect holsters, owning multiple holsters per gun. It's fun to browse the market place for used guns and the WTB section. Hi,
I’ve been shooting for the past 20 or so years mostly occasionally with my dad. I’ve lived in commiefornia my whole life. Recently over the past few years I have become more invested in firearms. I started hunting (killed my first ca buck this season) which lead to me getting into reloading as CA only allows you to use Non-lead ammo for hunting and it is impossible to find in 6.5 PRC. I also acquired my CCW permit over the last year and have been doing my due diligence to stay proficient with my firearm I carry. All this has resulted in a renewed interest firearms and the laws that surround them in CA. I’ve read countless threads on Calguns in the past trying to figure out the nuances of CA gun laws. Now that I have taken the next step in gun ownership I felt it was time to join the community on Cal Guns. Thanks to everyone who’s posts in the past have helped me.
