I do have one other Model 1895 in a more typical sporting rifle setup. That one is serial number 21266. Only unusual thing about that one is that it still has what I think is a factory Lyman rear sight after 120+ years.

Serial # 21266 was made in1899, with 4,744 made that year.

Your Model 90 was made in 1920, with 29,476 made that year. Just noticed, production dropped to 385 for 1921.
Is yours chambered for Long, or Long Rifle?
