We were the first

Left at 10 : 30 and the only other guy ( Who we knew )
Was just coming out

Now tomorrow might be a different story with the Foresty web sight saying " Now Open "

If you are there early enough , we can meet up at the staging area ( Dirt area when you first turn off the highway )

OR

You can just drive out to the canyon

Was just out shooting at Bee Canyon yesterday morning & took a load of trash out with me. The area looks much better than the last time I was up there. But there's still plenty trash laying around.

What A Great Day !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We Got Rid of that PILE !!!!!!!!!!

First and Formost I want to Give a BIG Thanks to all that helped make a differance today

Repubconserv :: Again this guy came out with his truck and Dug in with both hands

Chknlyps2 :: He and his son + daughter came all the way from Anza to help

SoCalChoppas :: This guy wins the Long Distance award , He came all the way from San Berdo to help

As were putting everything away at the end of it all The Ranger came by and was " Blown Away " by the job we did !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Told us that just the other day the District Ranger ( Big Boss ) was making a tour of the area and thought the canyons were staying a Lot cleaner ( Has a lot to do with Cal-Gun shooters helping )
Then they saw that pile and asked " What about that !!!!!!!!!!!! "
She told her boss "" that will Be Gone Sunday ,, A crew from Cal-Gun was coming out to take care of it ............................""

Almost forgot to add a 'Thanks " to our mystery helpers ........

As you look at the group picture there some people in the background
It was two young couples that drove by looking for a canyon to shoot in

They asked if they could shoot at our canyon as we were all busy with the " Pile "

I told them we doing a clean -up and the canyon was closed
They said " Can we help and then shoot after ? "
SURE >>>
They joined right in with the rakes and shovels

I would like to help again as long a my schedule permits. I called the guy I know at the Idyllwild ranger station and got the phone number for Cranston ranger station so we can coordinate with them to have the dumpsters not so full. Weekends are about the only time I have off and I will bring my truck next time to haul loads to the dumpsters.
