I get conflicting info on the AFG if its OK or not on a featureless. Currently, its off the rifle.

The trigger guard is from Troy. I Had a magpul one prior, but the troy seems more comfortable to me.

thanks

bump for the family photo-

still rocking the battlecomps, because they are a muzzle brake/compensator, and specifically NOT a flash hider. i dont care what iggy chin would say. bwiese says i am fine.

Forgot, I never added my addition to the featureless family.

I wanted to keep it looking as much like a standard AR as possible. So, I swapped the flash hider for a YHM Phantom Muzzle Brake (aggressive end), replaced the grip for a Hammerhead by Exile Machine, and put a Stock Lock (my own little creation) on my Stag Arms 6 position collapsable. Simple but effective rifle.

Thanks! I'll try to get some weight figures but my guess would be high 6's to low 7's. This thing really has no recoil, and really easy to control!

And to keep it on topic. Same rifle in the KISS configuration:

Here's my homemade fin grip. I milled a 1/8" slot in the back of my grip and used 1/8" thick kydex for the fin, and epoxy to hold it together.

Its gonna be fun using my old mags.

Ok, so which one to buy. The Exile Machine grip or the Solar Tactical grip. I still want a detachable mag with no bullet button. The Exile Machine grip you still have to pin the stock so it is fixed, not a big deal. The solar tactical grip how does it feel in your hand. I know off the Exile Web site they say that DOJ agent testified in Tulare Superior Court that it is not a pistol grip. Well....hmmm

Only if you live in CT, MA, NJ, or NY. CA does not consider a threaded barrel on a centerfire rifle to be an evil feature.

Does anyone know what the LOP on a standard A2 stock is? Or if the MM grip works without modification on the entry length A2 stock?

JD Machine (Kaiser Defense) Calguns Bear lower, RRA Midlength Upper. Hammerhead stock adapter with an ACE Hammer stock. Type I config and a naked DoubleStar pistol buffer tube assembly up top. EOTech XPS2-0. Tango Down ARC 30 rounder (still trying to figure out how to disassemble these for CA import as rebuild kits), YHM brake, the jagged kind that rip up your rifle bag and strike terror into the heart of your foe.
