Shooters
We are holding our monthly match February 19th above Upperlake California. This is a qualifying match for the 3K so don't stop shooting with 3 or 4 hits you need 5/10 to qualify. Much concern expressed on another shooting forum about the number of qualifying opportunities. Please note that 3K qualification opportunities began at the October 2022 monthly event. That was followed by a second opportunity in November. Shooters missed qualification opportunities in December and January because those monthly events were cancelled due to weather. Going forward, regular monthly events are scheduled for February, March, and April. Typically two matches are held on each event date, one match after the other. During each match shooters can qualify ATLEAST during both the formal practice session and the match qualification session. Thus - again going forward - that's a minimum of 3 (months) x 2 (matches/event) x 2 (minimum qualification opportunities per match) = 12 opportunities. Additionally, there is a final qualification opportunity the day before the 3K, where each shooter will have one (1) practice session + one (1) record session, so a MINIMUM, going-forward total of 14 opportunities. Plus, every record round the shooter qualifies for during the three monthly events provides one more opportunity to qualify which COULD add 7 more chances. Last year Calshipbuilder went 9/10 at the 3K shooting a Remington 700 with a 26 inch barrel in 30 caliber." Last year Calshipbuilder went 9/10 at the 3K shooting a Remington 700 with a 26 inch barrel in 30 caliber. No Fees at our matches!!! 99% of all the other ELR Matches charge fees.No pit duty just show up with any legal gun and shoot. No weight rules No bipod rules and the range director is actually friendly. Any safe shooting position so shoot prone bring a bench shoot out of your pickups bed we don't care as long as it's safe. If you want to feel snipery or tactical wear camouflage or paint your face we don't care. Bring 60 rounds of ammunition as we usually shoot 2 matches per day. If you want to shoot after the matches are over bring even more ammo. Two of our shooters went to Arizona and took home 1st place and 2nd place in lightgun and 1st place in heavygun. If you can shoot with us you can shoot well anywhere as we have some very tough conditions compared to most ELR matches. If you don't qualify you can still watch the action April 23rd. Sign up in advance is mandatory and easy for most. Www.unlimitedrange.org is where you sign up.

IF you want to shoot multiple rifles, you need to complete a registration for each one. If you expect to be shooting with us more than once, I suggest you do yourself a favor and build a text file in your word processor and then just copy and paste. NOTE: IF you seriously think you will score 5 in 10 or better, please DO take the time to enter ALL the info requested in the Build Sheet section - will save me e-mailing you to get missing info and hasten getting results posted on the URSA site (News and Stats pages) and the non-Cal Guns sites. Thanks.
If you want to shoot this event, you MUST sign up ONLINE (see below). Registrations MUST be received no later than 1 PM the day before the event. There will be NO onsite registrations. Registration is required for all shooters, spotters, and anyone that will be on or in the general proximity of the shooting line. NO exceptions. The URSA Official Course of Fire is at FAQ 13, near the bottom of this page on the URSA website - https://www.unlimitedrange.org/operations.html All shooter should review the course of fire prior to arriving at the venue. Substantial additional data regarding URSA events are included on the same web page. Sign-Ups: URSA uses the online program, Zoho Forms, to capture shooter Liability Releases and Build Sheet data, and spotter/other Liability Releases – Liability Releases are signed and dated at the event. Please use the appropriate link at the top of the Activity/Event Schedule page (http://www.unlimitedrange.org/activi...0schedule.html). If you have any problem with the online form, please e-mail me ASAP (webmaster@unlimitedrange.org). BTW, the form asks for limited “address” info (only city, state, and ZIP), we do NOT need your street address.
