Question on powder shipping

I recently made a purchased of powder and bullets from a company I’ve never done business before and was surprised at the $14.95 shipping for 5lbs of powder and 500 77gr 223 bullets. Pricing was also very good; $14.95/lb for Lil Gun and $146 for the bullets.

When the box arrived, there were no hazmat labels of any kind, just the UPS ground label. I’m the last one to think gov intervention help with much, but, in this case, hazmat shipping is one place I can see a need.

Thoughts?

I'd imagine any company shipping hazmat items incorrectly, not to mention it happens to be shipped via air, won't be in business long.

I'd take all the Lil Gun I could get at $15/#.

I made an order with shipping and hazmat included but it was labeled correctly. They just work it into the price usually.

Were you charged a separate hazmat fee? Because $15 shipping for 12lbs of anything is a reasonable price these days. Hazmat is generally in the $20-$30 range on top of shipping.

The old ORM-D label is no more, nowadays it's a diamond sticker.

I wonder if UPS relabeled? What is the company? My latest order had the huge red diamond label but was also shipped with UPS.

The only thing on the box was the UPS ground label. I can’t see these guys staying in business long, which is unfortunate as they were incredibly friendly on the phone when I called to verify they weren’t a fake biz front.

A little quick digging shows this to be a highly suspect scam site
Yelp shows the location closed. OP has other posts promoting other "sales" over the years. Joined in 2008 and has under 300 posts?? sorry this has scam written all over it.
