Default Optics-World.nl - Schmidt Bender PMii

Wow. Just wow.

I have a nice AR-10 and -15 and was looking to check out a SCAR. The more I looked at it the more I realized I really didn't need it. My -15 is great and I never got around to getting an optic for the -10 and haven't yet shot it. So I thought it would make more sense to get a good optic for the -10 rather than a SCAR I don't really need.

After looking around for a while I thought LPVO sounded nice to reach both far and near and started looking around. I finally decided buy once cry once and Schmidt Bender. They were a fortune but I found two places that were much cheaper than everywhere else. Both required wiring money so if it turned out to be a scam I was out of luck for a considerable amount of money.

I don't remember one of the places - I think it is in Singapore or India or somewhere far away. I contacted Schmidt Bender and they said they are not an official supplier so they may be grey market which is fine but bec it is a wire and I'm out of luck if it's a scam it wasn't worth it to me to take the risk.

However...

They said Optics-World.nl is an official vendor for them!

But ...

They required the money to be wired which means no refund if it turns out to be a scam. They were SO much cheaper than anywhere else it seemed it might really be a scam.

Well I went for it, stayed in contact with the rep, and ... today the optic arrived. It's gorgeous.

Long story short - if you are looking for an expensive optic, look to Optics-World.nl. It may take a bit of time but it's worth it!

You were playing with fire, but glad it turned out well. Is it gray market? Is it factory second? There must be an explanation, you don't get a high end product at a significant discount without a catch.

As for optics, it should be a great purchase. Which model did you get and what were the prices?

Hi. No they are official dealers. So not gray market. I’m guessing there are different minimum advertised pricing deals and they are priced in euros not dollars. I bought at the dollar became a lot stronger than the euro. It was the schmidt bender pm ii 1-8 dual cc. 3222 euros which is about equivalent to dollars.

I believe it’s this and eurooptic has the best price I’ve seen at 5460 outside of optics planet … https://www.eurooptic.com/Schmidt-Be...43E-K2-H2.aspx

Nice deal, OP. And a nice scope!!

It pays to shop around. About 10 years ago, I was looking for the Burris Quad scope to go with my Sako Quad rifle set.

Couldn't find it new anywhere in the USA, and used ones were silly-priced.

Found one in England at Morgan's Gun Room. It was $250 shipped from England. Arrived in about a week. BNIB. Amazing.
