Default God is amazing Part II. The hunt.

So while I am still recovering from shell shock due to life changing litigation, I am trying to start work on the bucket list. OK, sometimes I am a moron. Haters can take that to the bank. But even though I made a ton of mistakes God set things up for me in an amazing way. I wish I had the words. But what God does is so complex and amazing to detail what actually happened would take a skilled writer a lifetime. The depth of God is beyond belief! Note to Pastor Bill: I promised part II and you will get it should I live so long. I'm asserting priest penitent privilege for legal reasons however. You would not believe the animals I have dealt with.

It is a bit funny how things fall apart and then come together. I am sweating my final checklist (more honestly the second to last) and there are things I got wrong (some pretty laughable), things I need to learn and purchases I need to make. It's all a tad overwhelming. It is coming together though. And while my choice is to avoid a strut, I must say that the experience feels great. My thanks to the Lord!

Everyone has seasons, as described in Ecclesiastes.

Sometimes He leaves His fingerprints so that dimwitted people like myself can see and understand a miniscule bit of what He has done in steadfast love.

I will add, I got better at recognizing this the more time I spent in the Word. It's almost a magic bullet; I start 99% of my days in the Word, and have done so now for the better part of a decade. Not that I am so pious, but I expect to finish my eighth annual reading of the whole Bible this year. My experience has been approach your reading/devotional time prayerfully; He will meet you in His Word. But prayer is also a consistent part; as John Bunyan observed, "Prayer will make a man cease from sin, or sin will entice a man to cease from prayer."

OP, may God bless you, may He make His face to shine on you and shine through you.

Thank you for the thoughts socal m1 shooter. God's love is beyond my comprehension. I could talk all day about the blessings I never saw or understood. Hunting is a fun thing, but maybe there are lessons in it that I need to learn. Honestly, I think my job is to just be a piece of clay.
