Default Need QD mount for 1-6x24 scope (30mm tube)

Looking to mount a Trijicon 1-6x24 scope with 30mm tube on a flat-top AR. Would prefer a quick-detach mount. Suggestions on which brands I should look at? Thanks.

I wouldn't bother and grab some offset irons or red dot. I'm assuming it's because you want access to your BUIS? Be it training or real life, so you detach the 1-6, now what fumble to put it in your carrier or toss it?

Or do you want to attach it to multiple rifles?

Bobro or Larue have an excellent return to zero

The accucam adjusts to lock down tight and zero stays put. I run a version that's made for ACOG's. The lever is easy enough to work while wearing gloves too.

All my ACOG's came to wearing one after I put the first one thru the ringer.

They do make a throw-lever style mount now but I do not have experience enough to recommend it. Back when I ran one they were bolt on knob only. Which technically is QD, just QD with a tool. So I think it depends on the definition of QD. If you want throw-levers I really like Larue. Much more than American Defense, but AD will do in a pinch. For whatever reason throw-levers are now "old school". The new trend has switched back to the big bolt on knobs. Geiselle mounts are really popular right now. With a tool they will "quickly" detach. But it is much more tedious than with a throw-lever mount as hand tight will not be tight enough.

Trijicon is a pricey/quality scope so I assume you want an equal quality mount. Hence my recommending Larue and Geiselle (maybe Badger), both well respected and less than cheap brands. But American Defense, Bobro, even Burris will all work.

I’m partial to the Burris PEPR mount. They claim 1/4 MOA remount accuracy.

Like their Signature rings, the PEPR has the polymer inserts. Makes for easy cant adjustments if desired.
You will never, in your life, have a chance like this again.
If I were you, I would not pass this up. I would not let this go by...this is rare.
Come on...what harm??

I have Larue and ADM Recon QD Mounts. I really like the ADM since they can be adjusted without tools.

Here's a test showing the shift with several brands of mounts. They are all small enough to be repeatable (all less than 1/4 MOA), but some are significantly lower.

Zero Shift (MOA)
ADM 0.135
Bobro 0.016
Burris 0.223
GG&G 0.043
PRI 0.049
