You can order it online, but you have to ship it to your local ffl. Also, you're in the wrong section

All firearms you buy online must be transferred to you through a CA FFL dealer.

Unless you are an exempt person, any handgun you acquire through a CA FFL dealer must be listed on the Roster of Handguns Certified for Sale or be exempt from it (C&R, OTP, SAE, SSE2).

In order to be considered on-Roster, the handgun must exactly match what is listed on the Roster of Handguns Certified for Sale.

Therefore...

If the Gen 3 Glock is not made in Austria or is a different color or is modified from its OEM configuration, then it is not considered an on-Roster handgun and is considered an off-Roster handgun.
^Which means, a CA FFL dealer cannot legally transfer it to you unless you qualify for an exemption (LEO, PPT, etc).

So, unless you are an exempt person, you will need to acquire a stock on-Roster handgun and then send it out to get customized.
