I know many of us probably don't live (or care for) San Francisco elections; but a huge win for the community:
https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/...ey-recall.html TL ![]() Look this guy up; came from an interesting background (parents were radicals/criminals), was at odds with the Mayor and Police rank-and-file towards the end of his tenure, and the first local recall election since 1983. |

I guess the people of SF finally saw through the BS and is tired of the real "pandemic" that is crime - and the subpar DA that refuses the hold criminals accountable. |

Um, what about the people who elected this person? Are you saying that they don't bear any blame for the destruction he committed on the city? Honestly, the city has been going down the tubes for a LONG time and he's just the logical extension of this decline, one could even say he is the personification of the ideology of the young pioneers [progressive 'new' democrats]. But there is still a very significant 'old liberal' [aka hippies] population in S.F. and it's they who are [oddly enough] trying to keep they city from destroying itself by going 'too crazy'. Here's an article in the atlantic [of all places] which documents the above pretty well: https://www.theatlantic.com/ideas/ar...d-city/661199/ |
