Requested from OT's June 8th soiree, how about about a trapshoot before Father's day in San Jose area? Will need some helps from the locals in the 'hood since Metcalf and I think Sunnyvale have trapshooting though I've never been to either one (I shoot mainly in Livermore). I've been to Los Altos once but only the pistol side.



Ivanimal looks to be in and will get BruceFlinch out.

Sunnyvale? I'm not sure which is closer to most - Sunnyvale or Metcalf. but open here.

Coyote Valley also has a trap range, and it is cheaper than the County Range. I would be game to shoot Metcalf (more fields) or Coyote (just 1 trap field).

I've been to the Metcalf trap/skeet range earlier this year on weekends, barely anyone there at all. I was the Only trap shooter on a Saturday afternoon, the rifle/pistol range was overflowing that day too. Guess no trap shooters in that area. Metcalf has newer and lot more fields too.

very different form Livermore. pretty packed at opening time. it tapers down later in the day. (though it is warmer then)
