Tonight I met Michelle Hamlin who spoke before us .
She is running for Lakewood City Council District #1 .Although this is a nonpartisan position, she voted Trump, likes his policies and is pro liberty supporting 2A Lakewood residents would do well to pass the word a vote Michelle Hamlin,is a vote for freedom . |

Shasta County Sheriff Michael Johnson is a supporter of the 2A in words only and swore his oath falsely.

It looks a little flimsy to me - like someone phoned it in.
A lot of these endorsements leave you wondering wtf. What criteria was used, who made these endorsement decisions, why are 95% of the candidates ungraded. Last edited by SkyHawk; 05-17-2022 at 8:23 AM.. |

Unbelievable! Ben Therriault who’s running for CoCoCo sheriff has one of the most pro CCW positions I’ve ever read yet they don’t give him any grade, not even based upon his own campaign website?

As you might have noticed, several candidates failed to make the deadline for the publication of their candidate statements in the official gov't-provided voter guides. Often it's because they file to run at the last minute and/or don't have the campaign staff to fill out the deluge of questionnaires that they receive. |

A question for anyone who might know the answer:
Does CRPA's recommendation take into account who actually has the best chance of winning in the jungle primary? For instance, for governor, if the recommendation is Brian Dahle but Dahle is behind a different, possibly neutral-on-guns Republican who has a much better chance of defeating Gavin Newsom and the 2nd-place Democrat, in realpolitik, I'd rather vote for the neutral-on-guns Republican to face the viciously anti-gun Newsom in the general. (aka a split-the-vote situation where we might accidentally help an anti-gun Democrat other than Newsom into the 2nd spot). BUT, I'd really like to see CRPA publish the "best pro-gun candidate regardless of chance of winning" and also the "best not-anti-gun candidate with chance of taking down anti-gun opponent" recommendations. That would be super-helpful to a lot of us. UPDATE: Money-wise, if San Diego Union Tribune is to be trusted, Dahle is coming in 2nd behind Newsom. https://www.sandiegouniontribune.com...-of-california I'll keep looking for polling of likely voters rather than fundraising.
