Currently, the only one that has stated on his website to support shall issue for CCWs that I have come across is Justin Patterson (unfortunately, he seems to be the underdog):
https://pattersonforsheriff2022.com/on-the-issues/ I haven't finished my vetting, however, and am scrutinizing campaign contributions to all the applicants: https://voicesofmontereybay.org/2022...cda6275a612740

As per my earlier post I concur with the CG poster that Patterson is the only logical choice for 2A 'and CCW's in Monterey County and the only one that has stated that on his website.
The other candidates: Joe Moses, as mentioned, a lot of drama and unsuccessful litigation during and post the last run for the sheriff. None of his staff would give me a position on firearms or CCWs plus he is endorsed by a lot of Democrats including Sam Farr, not a good sign. Hoyne, tries to look like a cowboy on his website but I believe he is from Chicago. He can fix everything and is best suited for the job according to him but no specifics at all on how he would accomplish that. No info on 2A or CCWs. Nieto, the worst of the lot, is not only endorsed by the Democratic Party of Monterey County but also the Progressive Democrat Party of America (Monterey Chapter), enough said.
