It's just that I have heard of none of other candidates and looking at some of their websites, there is little info other than campaign talk and not much about their history or actual views on many issues.

I think other candidates are hoping Newsom ***ks up somehow and/or hot issues like abortion, water, electricity, etc. get high visibility.

if the Newsom challengers put out the same old tired R talking points, it'll go nowhere.

Its been rigged for Newsome from the beginning.
That said Long Beach voters should consider Nick Liddi who spoke before us on Sat night. He is a sincere man and wants to make Long Beach safe with enhanced sentences for those who are career criminals .
Liddi for LongBeach.com

2 weeks ago tri county sheriffs had a seminar and I will vote Alex Villanova, although its unlikely he can win with the swamp propaganda against him .
Judgevoterguide.com should be consulted before voting on judges .
This will be my last vote in California, but I will vote and waste my time just out of habit.

If you can listen to John and Ken on KFI am 640. They do a pretty good job of talking about the candidates and usually have most of them on. They also do a pretty good job of grilling them on issues that really affect CA (crime, homelessness, illegal immigration, etc.).

I'd vote for a flaming sack of dog crap before I'd vote for Newsom.

Why bother? Nancy Pelosi's nephew, Gavin NEWSCUM, will win in a landslide. With all the ballot harvesting and write in votes, California elections are about as honest as Chuckie Schumer and Nancy.

I don't know. The GOP is so full of RINO's that I don't trust them. For example, the National Tax Limitation Committee is recommending Jon Elist for US Senate. He's a businessman, not an attorney, which I like. The GOP recommendation, Mark Meuser is an attorney, and I think that is a big part of the problem with government, too many smarmy attorneys.
Just my thought as I try to wade through the BS. Neither candidate voices an opinion on 2A.

I agree. I'm voting for Dahle. Republicans always put up too many candidates, and then wonder why they don't win.

Voting in this state means nothing if you're not democrat. I lost all confidence voting here after 2020.

I'll vote because it's my only way to protest the Communists in this state.

It won't matter to them. Doesn't matter how bad it gets here. Crime could up 100% and people be attacked in the millions here every single day and die as well and he will still win. Why? Because people can't stop pulling that lever for the DemoKrats.

Screw this state.

By us voting in huuge numbers, it requires them to cheat more, and then makes their cheating more obvious. Have you seen 2000 Mules?

Reinette Senum was pretty much ok with the 5 Texas officers being killed. I for one think she has no place in any office:

FACEBOOK POST PROMPTS BACKLASH

A day after a sniper killed five police officers during a Dallas protest, Senum posted a comment on Facebook stating that the shooting was incited by “America’s police force.”

“They have obviously been given directives to go out there and kill. It’s insane and it’s meant to create mayhem,” she wrote Friday.

“…This is the oldest trick in the book … it brings out more violence!!! It’s a terrible cycle that always escalates into something worse. Thus forcing us to ask ourselves, who is benefiting from this? THAT’s the answer I want to get to,” she continued.

Senum has since deleted her comments, but not before it instigated a frenzied discussion on social media and caught the attention of news organizations from Grass Valley, to Sacramento and to Dallas.

Her statement also infuriated many local and regional law enforcement officers, who called for the boycotting of her restaurant and for her resignation from the city council.

Senum apologized Saturday morning, saying she has enjoyed working with the local law enforcement officers and that she was only pointing out “a well-documented trend that is causing a public backlash towards the police.”

“Today, we need to insist that America’s law enforcement includes in their standards and tactics how to interact with members of the public,” she wrote. “We can have great sympathy for our police while holding them to high standards as well as the same laws that apply to the average citizen.”

But the apology was not enough to satisfy some, including local law enforcement officers.

Larry Elder was the only African American (that I'm aware) that was called a racist for running as a Republican Governor for California. WTF?

The amount of racist hatred towards Larry Elder in 2021 recall coming from liberals was mind opening. My liberal friends and family don't see any problems using very racist names calling Larry. It is scary actually because if you are not one of them, you are not human.

Thoughts on Anthony Trimino? Republican running for CA Governor. Sounds like he supports the Bill of Rights. Not sure how he compares to Brian Dahle for getting the votes.

I'm surprised a Kevin Faulconer, former SD mayor didn't run again, unless he's waiting until 2026 because he thinks Newscum will win again. Even a RINO like him would be better than Newscum, and i think some dems and independents would vote for him.

Yes, dozens and dozens of them would.

In the recall election, he placed third. At single-digit percent. After a democrat. Why would he run? It would be insane. It would be pure masochism.

Same here for the exact same reason. Not all of them are ideal candidates but still better than the Dem versions. If we actually can make a Republican comeback in this state then one can start getting picky with Republican candidates.

True. But Larry Elder was who everyone purposefully rallied behind per Trump's support.
