Default Getting ammo shipped

The ammo/reloading sections seems focused on reloading. I'm looking for a good place to have ammo shipped in the Roseville Rocklin area. I've inquired a few times at NorCal Gun Vault. They don't seem too interested in doing this.

If I wanted to order from a vendor on ammoseek, where is the best place to have it shipped to? Any suggestions?

A couple years back I was having ammo shipped to Kilroy's in West Sacramento. They used to charge $10.00 per package

I stopped by NorCal Gun Vault again yesterday. I talked to Eddie, the owner. He said he will do up to 2500 rounds for $35. it doesn't matter if it's 20 rounds or 2500 rounds it's $35. $50 for up to 5000 rounds. I don't mind paying that price, as long as I can make it work. The catch is he will not provide me with anything more than his business card. I need to have the seller contact him for all the proper documentation.

My questions are.

Is this process the norm? When I ordered some ammo for my DW Supermag, I remember going through this as well.

Does anyone have any experience buying from ammoseek sellers in this regard?

That's not really considered a catch. If you were buying a gun from an out of state seller, it would be the same situation. You give the seller the general contact info for the receiving FFL, and it's the seller's job to contact the FFL and get the full documentation. The FFL would not share his license info with you. If it's a major ammo vendor and if NCGV frequently does ammo transfers, the vendor may already have their FFL info on file.

And a +1 for Loyal Arms.
