F-ing Glock I had to buy a separate $165 factory barrel for my g44 to run a can on it. Sig is gtg out of the box.
"Settle" meaning I wanted a small gun like a PPK. I did sorta find new ones, but they were cheaper, like $300 and change, and made in the U.S. I guess? I know the ones I saw for sale came with a screw-on attachment that I first saw on Smiths.

I don't even know why I want a small one. Maybe because they look cool. I couldn't hit anything beyond 5 feet with one. Even if I could see the sights I couldn't see the sights if you know what I mean.

That little .22 ppk shoots great and sounds amazing with a can. You’d absolutely hate the double action trigger pull on it though. It’s utterly ridiculous.

Your Sig 322 is definitely on my short list. They are still really hard to find locally and you can’t swing a dead cat around here without hitting a gun store. As soon as one shows up in inventory, it sells. I’ll randomly fall into one here eventually. I’m thrilled Sig included the 1/2x28 suppressor adapter with it. Also, with Glocks accessory 165$ threaded barrel and their adapter, they did it in such a way that there is unnecessary length in the front. Would have been much better if they back threaded it like your sig or the walther so with the 1/2x28 adapter installed, the suppressor would snug up closer to the slide. As you can see on my glock, it’s proud of the front of the slide a bit because of how they spec’d their barrel length and adapter. Not a deal killer but would have been nicer and cleaner if it snugged up flush.

Yeah, I had to order mine. Pissed me off too because I paid 499 through PSA, but now I can get it for 449 from Osage County Guns.

One thing though, it's bigger than it looks on the web. The grip is below the palm of my hand. I guess they wanted to keep up with Taurus and have a 20 round magazine.

Hey, I can sell you my 499 one and then buy a 449 one!

Bump for more. We have a Bowers Bitty can inbound soon:

Going to try it on the PSA Rock 5.7. Although it's rated for 5.7, Bowers didn't have any data for it and he wants to know how much it takes the edge off of the 5.7 blast. The PSA Rock is just fantastic and weighs about the same as my Hellcat RDP. Has the Holosun 507C with ACSS Vulcan reticle. Cowitness irons inbound. The only ones tall enough for this rig are the 9XL Ameriglo suppressor sights.

Carries well IWB & with one mag in the gun and another on me, 46+1 total of SS198.

..also, received this for a CA customer about a week ago. Not a rifle we see every day! Going to make it CA compliant for him!

Sorry for the bad lighting, it's FDE and the reflective gold color that Sig uses:

When they first came out he was selling them pretty cheap. I was about to buy one but chickened out. What's the price going to be on that one?

I've heard they're fairly loud, which is expected given the size. But one on the end of a Beretta 21 makes for a tidy little package.

The Bitty cans are $390 retail.

As to the Spear can, the customer suggested us keeping it in exchange for the conversion work.

Nice, you made out well on that deal. That's a 4 digit can that's really not available on the market.

After an excruciating 61 days my approved form 1 came back for my MKE AP5. It will join its little sister AP5P as the newest addition to my SBR collection.

For some reason my photos are not showing, weird.

Nice, congrats! A full sized MP5 is on my need to acquire list!

What stock is that on the AP5P?

It’s a KES Safe Harbor stock. They also make braces. It works with the K models and the arms fit under the welded plate that covers the stock channels. It’s very sturdy and compact in the year that I’ve had it.

Bought my first can here in AZ. Surefire Socom RC2 5.56
We'll see how long the ATF approval takes..

I also eventually want to SBR my semi auto AO Thompson but finding a 10.5" barrel seems nearly impossible.

Latest addition to the stable:

Built on a M46 receiver with a mix of Mod 0, Mod 1 and M249 components.

A Para barrel is inbound along with some other interesting stuff..

That's the plan. We'll see what the muzzle thread is of the Para barrel I ordered. The GB seller doesn't know the barrel thread spec or if the existing muzzle device is welded on. I may just suppress the longer barrel which is 1/2x28.

I'll test fire the gun later this week to see if it runs correctly. You never know with builds by other SOTs!

Default Expats NFA picture thread!

I look forward to reading about your results. Thank you. I’m tempted to order a muzzle device for my saw and see how it runs suppressed as well.

I’m pretty sure my factory FN saw bbl is 9/16x24 LH thread, but i haven’t attempted to remove my factory muzzle device yet. My suppressor co makes a mount/flash hider for my can in that pitch.

I plan to use the SLX-MG 6.8 can from the Sig Spear that a CA customer allowed us to keep. It uses a Sig QD flash hider that is 5/8x24, so I ordered a CNC Warrior adapter to mount it on 1/2x28 thinking that the Para barrel would have the same threads as the 18" barrel currently in the gun. I also ordered a .223 alignment rod from Accuracy Solutions to check concentricity. We'll see how it all comes together. The Para barrel is arriving today..

Awesome. Thank you and good luck. Looking forward to your findings. If the para barrel you have incoming is FN factory, I’ll be real curious to hear what thread pitch it is.

I received the barrel and it is the FN military 13.78" part with muzzle device that is not perm attached. It's likely that the thread is 9/16x24 LH.

This is the same barrel for double the price of what I paid on GunBroker:

https://www.midwestgunworks.com/page/mgwi/prod/fnx99086

I ordered this adapter to install the Sig muzzle device and suppressor:

https://hughesprecision.com/product/...ead-converter/

Not sure there will be adequate clearance between the gas block and the can, but for $19.95 for the adapter, worth a try.

Quick photo with the Para barrel installed. No pivots points for the heat shield since the Para gas block has a short retention pin, but really, who needs a heat shield anyway. :

.
The only issues with the gun as received are a gas cylinder that won't come out. Likely installed incorrectly and beaten into place deforming the retention spring. Additionally, the lower back plate retaining pin is too tight for the receiver retaining clip and back plate retaining clip to function. The pin has to be hammered in and out. Whoever finished up the receiver didn't fit the pistol grip assembly to the lower part of the receiver perfectly causing this snugness. Both projects for another day since they won't affect function.

Confirmed that the 13.7" mil-spec barrel muzzle device was not pinned or welded and is 9/16x24 LH. The muzzle device came off easily. Now just waiting for the Hughes Precision thread adapter and 90 degree shouldered, Clutch-Lok, Sig muzzle device since the one with the SLX-MG suppressor was for tapered barrels.
