Can anyone give me a good place to shoot at. Anyplace near Monterey area. I have been to tumey hills, which is like a 2hr drive. I would like to goto panoch, but not sure how to get there and if I am there not sure where to set up at.
Trying to find a spot a little bit closer to Monterey that I can shoot with a rifle

Ya thanks, been there but was looking for a place where I can setup my own targets like tumey hills

type Panoche into task bar?? Try typing places to shoot near san francisco in task bar and you will be amazed what shows up.

panoche, tumey, and griswold are all closed for fire hazard, as I understand
