New 670-1 edits and policy changes announcement in milsuite

Good news, we can now wear the coyote brown fleece cap. Other news, AR updated to reflect diversity and inclusion. Among the phrases removed are fu manchu and Mohawk. Also dreadlocks are now locs due to connection with slavery. I always thought it had roots in religion. Men can now wear clear nail polish too. No ****.

Commanders discretion was thought to be too subjective so recommendations from command will be based on professional appearance and good order and discipline.

Nothing is going to impact me in the changes.

All I cared about was the Leather Bomber Jacket, and the Army went and F'd that up too. Rank is to be worn via hook/loop on the leather jacket, and not old school pin ranks.

BTW Vanguard Medals has said leather jacket ranks. $30!!!!!

Anyway............ everything associated with the new uniforms is way over priced. The upside with the leather jacket is they can be had just about anywhere, and they have 80 years of production. One can potentially get a scream'n deal on one if you find your size on E-Bay.

Both things I would have to buy to utilize them.

I think the REAL biggest change is OPD is now referred to ACU as the old stuff is off the books.

If you look at the memo of who was on the panel reviewing this there's mostly females including 2 BG"s, a COL and a a pshychologist. Highest ranking males are 2 LTC and 2 or 3 CSM's.

Haha.......... because my spouse asked if the Army actually consults any fashion professionals when making up these decisions. Because, clearly they do not.
