I used to have a 110 yard zero on my AK, and I could use the sliding sights quite effectively.
Today, I rezeroed to 19.5 yards at the D mark. I wanted the same zero for my sights vs my IR laser. My ballistic calculator said Id be 8 to 10 inches high between 100 to 220 yards. Easy enough to remember. After zeroing, I shot it from 50 to 300. Well, I didnt have to hold over. If I did, Id miss. 20 to 300, POA is POI. Im not complaining. I love this zero. But I dont get it. Not saying its 1 MOA. I was shooting 12 inch plates. My AR requires hold overs with a 100 yard zero. Im used it. Last edited by MarikinaMan; 01-03-2021 at 5:50 PM.. |
