Default LGS FFL doing transfers?

Where is a good place n EG or SAC to do transfers for items ordered from manufacturer (guns, receivers)? Some shops are not doing transfers.

Have you tried MTG in EG? Haven't dealt with them for a while, but they were always supportive of transfers.

I emailed and messaged them on their FB a week before this post... no reply so far. I'll have to call or go in to see how busy they are.

I have used Loyal Arms in Folsom. They’re a semi home FFL, more like an office park based FFL. They’ve posted in the commercial services forum here.

Sportsman warehouse in Rancho Cordova. Get there before they open and you will be in and out quickly or wait till 3ish.

Sportsman's Warehouse doesn't typically do any transfers other than PPT and obviously their own new stock. I hear tell you can call in and talk to Matt after 1:30pm and inquire because they may do them for a special instance, but it'll cost you $100. Doesn't sound like they are GTG at all. I did call, and the guy said they sell stripped lowers in the store, but not Larue. I won't bother to call Matt.

Loyal Arms sounds like a real LGS and reasonable FFL. I will most likely pick up my Larue lowers through them and a few more forged if they have any in stock.

Oh no harm done. Funny that they think regular transfers are a PITA though. I guess they do need to charge the tax on the items ordered, etc... a small LGS always seems to know how to fill out the forms and use a calculator for a fair fee.
