Painted Gorge BLM land Clean up 12/15/18 Volunteers Needed!
There will be a large organized BLM land clean up event on
Saturday December 15, 2018. 0700-1100 It will be at Painted Gorge in Imperial County. The final gps coordinates will be sent via message or email to those that rsvp for the event. So make sure to contact one of the ways below for more information. SDMust and SDORC will be teaming up to have this event. There will be dumpsters on site to haul away the trash we collect from this area. There will also be food, drinks, and possibly some giveaways for volunteers. After the clean up, we will doing some target shooting and off-roading through the Gorge. We need Volunteers and Donations! This type of event benefits everyone and helps show legislators and policy makers that we are willing to work to keep our public land clean, safe, and open for future generations. If you camp, shoot, or off road on public land, this is a great way to meet other outdoor enthusiasts, while helping to maintain our land. We are looking for some people to bring trucks to help haul the trash from the different areas to where the dumpsters will be.

Great clean up with over 56 volunteers . We also had full support from BLM and local residents . These type of events help us grow as a community , and help to keep our public land open.
