I've had this gun for well over a decade, and now that I've taken up waterfowl hunting I decided it needed a new look.
Base coat is Cerakote H (sand), sprayed on with a $8 Harbor Fright airbrush and baked in a conventional oven (wife was not happy). Camo layers are Krylon and were masked with local plants for a pattern custom-matched to my locale. Sealed it all with a clear coat of Krylon. The plan is to spray it down with brakekleen or some other solvent when the Krylon wears out or I decide to change the pattern. That should strip it down to the Cerakote and then I can cheaply and easily re-spray with more Krylon. My inner Bubba is proud. ![]() IMG_20180218_144610.jpg

Looks blind worthy. The Krylon camo paint is pretty damn durable. Hit it with some Minwax satin clear and it will last a looooong time. I have done a few guns with it and have yet to have to touch it up.
