Default BB Rifle Practice Locations

I am wondering if there are any places where my children can safely target shoot their BB Rifle around the area. We are moving from our home in Sacramento to a duplex in Campbell. So obviously they will no longer be able to practice in the back yard anymore. I'm not very familiar with the area, so if anyone can provide some suggestions?

We used to do it inside the house. We hung a thick blanket as a backstop.

Kinda an old post but figured I would chime in anyway, since no one else did.

It is illegal to shoot a BB gun in your back yard in San Jose. I'm not sure about Campbell? You might check the local ordinances. If that's Ok set up a BB Trap and have at it. However, you need to keep in mind that it's not Sac and people are generally anti-gun anywhere in the bay, so the cops may still show up and point their real guns at you if they are uninformed or get complaints. So I would be very cautious, inform your neighbors and keep it mellow and clean.

For official spot, most ranges will let you shoot BB/Air rifles. I would check with them.

Reed's Indoor Range - Santa Clara

Target Master's - Milpitas

10th Street Municipal Firring Range - San Jose (Yes, and the have a Junior League too)

Coyote Point Rifle & Pistol Range

The other option is to find someone with some warehouse space and borrow that on the weekend and use a bullet trap.
