Man. You guys. I thought I was nuts for spending a few bucks on body armor and mag pouches. I mean, I'm sure it's probably all relative to either plenty of disposable income for this fancy stuff, or an incredibly good hook up. Or both. In any event, that's some mighty fine head gear. And the couple of women that snuck in there look ok too. One of them had a very nice pair of gloves on.

I buy less guns. And for me, i use NV for way more stuff than guns. Its a great thing to have for general stuff when its dark out

Youll catch alot of flack for it, but they make a fantastic product. Everyone went to opscore as well but seem to forget Gentex's donation history as well.

Here's my ACH, it isn't much, but it gets the job done, plus the cost of an ops core or something similar didnt seem to be worth it vs the ACH. If your neck starts hurting, suck it up and drive on, IMHO.

One PVS14 worked fine for me doing 11B type stuff so I don't see any reason to go with dual tubes, I can't say for sure if I'd dislike two tubes, but I feel the purple eye would suck when you flip em up to go white light in CQB. Basically, I just feel more comfortable having 1 eye already adapted to ambient light and/or the light of a room you're clearing (someone turns the light on, you go popping the white light, etc)



And here's the back of it. The bunny ears keep the headlamp from sliding off, which is nice. Ideally, I'd like to put the headlamp in line with the center of it, but oh well, it works well enough as is. The velcro is just super glued on to provide a quick mount for the IR flag, the other IR flag being on the front of my plate carrier.

The name tape is also super glued on (its the part that looks like an MS painted turd in Deep Dark Earth Taco Tuesday Brown) and its just there so that if, idk I lost my ACH in a giant pile, I could tell which one is mine. In all honesty, it just looks cool and lets anyone behind me know what my name is. Other IR squares are ripped off ACU shoulder pockets and similarly glued on.

The inside foam, not pictured, has been cut to accommodate over the head ear pro.
