I'm clueless here - what's better about these aluminum mags than say Pmags?

I am interested in the AL grey 10/20 mags.

Since you are getting orders for 10/30s, do I need to wait for after your 10/30s are met? What are my chances of ordering the 10/20s?

If you only do light target shooting in a perfectly controlled environment you won't be missing anything. I run 40 round pmags in my machine guns. Drop a loaded one at the wrong angle and the lips will crack off.
These mags are popular with guys that compete or want the same mags used in combat.

I need an interest list for any of the other mags so if you want any from option 1-4 either post publicly or PM with option # and qty and I will have a list made of how many mags are in demand.

I have a few more orders for the group buy mags.

I am holding off on invoicing because I have a lot of shipping to do today and tomorrow for current orders. I will work on the group buy mag orders this weekend.

The group buy for these mags will go on until I can at least get 100 of both the grey 30 and 20 round mags sold. It looks like it will not take long at all and once they are here I can zip right through converting them.

It looks like we will have enough buyers for the 10/30 grey group buy mags and a very good chance of the 10/20 grey mags. All other mags most likely will not be ordered and refunds sent.

I have a lot about 7 PMs and other orders I have to process and make invoices for so please be patient. Getting all the orders straight i sthe hardest part of this group buy so once I have the mags ordered they will be converted and shipped quickly.

Not too late.
I am finishing up all the yugo sks guns from the last group mbuy this week and then will sift through all my pms and emails to get a count on the okay mag group buy orders.

It looks like only the grey 10/30 and 10/20 mags will be ordered. The factory 10 round have a slight chance and the ptfe mags most likely will not be ordered and anyone that sent funds for those will be refunded asap.

Nothing has shipped due to a finishing up the SKS group buy shipping (it is done except por a few stragglers that want them stored or need FFLs sent to me), a large SIG MPX order that needed to get rushed out, holiday events, and the Calguns server crash.

11/29/2015

THE GROUP BUY IS HAPPENING.
I NEED EVERYONE'S COOPERATION TO MAKE THIS WORK.
THE CALGUNS OUTAGE AND TIME THAT PASSED SINCE I STARTED THIS GROUP BUY HAS DERAILED IT SLIGHTLY.

DUE TO SPECIFIC DEMAND I AM ONLY ORDERING 20 AND 30 ROUND MIL-SPEC DRY LUBE MAGS FOR CONVERSION TO 10 ROUND CAPACITY. I ALREADY DID A SMALL TEST ON THEM WHEN A FEW SIG MCX'S SHOWED UP WITH THE EXACT SAME MAGS. THESE WILL BE NO PROBLEM CONVERTING AND INSERTING A LOADED MAG ON A CLOSED BOLT. DUE TO HIGH SPEED PRODUCTION THERE MAYBE A SMALL NUMBER OF MAGS THAT WILLBE A TIGHTER FIT FOR A CLOSED BOLT BUT ALL MAGS WILL HOLD 10 ROUNDS WITH SOME WIGGLE ROOM LEFT. THE 556 ROUND DOES NOT LEAFT MUCH MARGIN FOR ERROR. IT IS EITHER 10 ROUNDS WITH SOME ROOM OR 11 ROUNDS SO I HAVE TO BE CONSERVATIVE WHEN BLOCKING THEM.

I ALWAYS DO MY BEST TO NOT MAKE USER IDS PUBLIC FOR THOSE THAT BUY MY PRODUCTS. THAT MAKES IT DIFFICULT TO TRACK ORDERS AND PAYMENT.

SEVERAL USPS MONEY ORDERS ARRIVED HERE AND I HAVE NOT DEPOSITED THEM YET. i WILL BE DEPOSITING THEM 11/30 SO I CAN START ORDERING MAGS. OTHERS HAVE PAID BY CREDIT CARD OR OTHER MEANS.

I NEED EVERYONE THAT PAID TO EMAIL ME WITH INVOICE NUMBER OR OTHER CONTACT INFO SO I CAN GET YOUR ORDER IN THE QUEUE.

IF YOU SUBMITTED AN ORDER BUT DID NOT HEAR BACK FROM ME PLEASE CONTACT ME AGAIN.

IF YOU ARE NEW TO THE GROUP BUY PLEASE PLACE AN ORDER.

IF YOU PAID FOR A MAG THAT IS NOT A MIL SPEC GREY OR A FACTORY 10 ROUND MAG YOU CAN EITHER BE REIMBURSED OR SUB FOR ONE OF THE GROUP BUY MAGS.

ONLY THE FOLLOWING MAGS WILL BE OFFERED AT THIS TIME:

10/30 GREY MIL SPEC $14/EA
10/20 GREY MILSPEC $15/EA
FREE STATE/EXEMPT 30 GREY MIL SPEC $12.50/EA
FREE STATE/EXEMPT 20 GREY MILSPEC $12.50/EA

MY NON GROUP BUY PRICES WILL BE $16, $17, $14, $15

SHIPPING IS
$8 FOR 1-2 MAGS
$10 FOR 3-10 MAGS
$20 FOR 11-30 MAGS
30+ MAGS PM FOR QUOTE

WHEN YOU ARE READY TO ORDER I WILL NEED THE FOLLOWING PM'D TO EMAIL AN INVOICE:
NAME (I ONLY NEED THIS IF YOU ORDERED IN THE PAST. INCLUDE ANY CHANGED INFO)
HOME ADDRESS
PHONE
EMAIL
PAYMENT METHOD
QTY OF 10/30 MAGS
QTY OF 10/20 MAGS
QTY OF 30 ROUND MAGS (RESTRICTED)
QTY OF 20 ROUND MAGS (RESTRICTED)

PLEASE EMAIL ME AT SALES@ALPHACATOUTDOORSUPPLY.COM FOR THIS GROUP BUY. I DO NOT TRUST THE PM'S YET.

I WILL HAVE 100 OF EACH OF THE 30 AND 20 MAGS ORDERED THIS WEEK AND HOPEFULLY PREPPED FOR SHIPPING NEXT MONDAY. MAGS ONLY SHIP IN CASES OF 100 SO IF DEMAND EXCEEDS 100 EACH WILL ORDER MORE 1 CASE AT A TIME.

I ordered a case of 30 round grey and 20 round grey mags today. There are 100 mags in each case.

The 30 round mags are pretty much all accounted for already.
There are still plenty of 20 round mags.

Feel free to continue ordering by email. That is working the best for me right now as PMs are still slow to refresh.

REMEMBER, $1 FOR EACH MAG IS GOING TO MY SON'S BOY SCOUT TROOP. I WILL BE DONATING IN THE FORM OF A COMPANY CHECK.

I have to catch up on my PM's and emails. 1 day away at SAR show and I am backed up again.

I did see OKAY finally ran my card for the 200 mags yesterday. It looks like I will be ordering a second case to make more 10/30 mags as that has gone over 100 mags already.

I'm expecting to get mags shipped out starting 12/14 if they get here next week.

When I spoke with Phil, he said he would rivet them. The baseplates are still removable so you can change out to different floor plates if you like

riveting them is the fastest but not always the most reliable. I will be spending time on 1 tomorrow to figure out if it will be an easy rivet in the spine or a block at the baseplate. I do not want to use a block at all because it is expensive and time consuming but 556 rounds are so small it is hard to get that sweet spot if 10.3 rounds of room without being able to force in an 11th.

I have 90 10/30 mags riveted.
100 more are inbound.

I am trying to figure out an easy way to block the 20 round mags. They are not taking a rivet well and might need to have a block inserted. These might be the only 10/20 mags I offer unless I raise the price to $17-18 to account for more labor and materials so buy now while they are $15.

I will be presenting my son's scout troop with a check for $200 tonight at their Christmas dinner. I have not sold 200 mags yet so I am donating a small amount myself.

I am very grateful to all that participated and patiently waited.

I still have 10/20 mags in stock and ready to ship.
I am expecting a case of 30 round mags soon to complete the outstanding orders.

If your invoice is not listed in post 1 and you did not get your mags yet please PM me. I will be sorting through all my orders over the weekend.

The magazines that were shipped out on 12/12/15 that you did not sign for and were held at your post office until February 4th waiting for you to pick them up?

The tracking number shows the box was returned to my post office on 2/17. The post office does not have my phone number on speed dial so without you actually telling me the mags are here and not in CA I cannot help much. I will go to the post office to see if the mags are there tomorrow.
