I honestly believe that the realignment of the 9th back to a MORE CONSTITUTION BASED body, by TRUMP's efforts. Placed a bit of a check on Chief Thomas's rampant ANTI 2A agenda.

And that with the same realignment at SCOTUS. LA will be unlikely to appeal.

No matter what the media and demrats claim about TRUMP. He was the gift that keeps on giving as far as the courts are concerned.

How about the RICO end of his case against BECK, Feure, and the other assorted criminals hiding in the City Gov?

LAWS were intentionally broken by those entrusted with enforcing them to gratify their own political agendas.

Will this just be another Major Malfeasance that is just allowed to be swept away and forgotten?

I seriously doubt it. As well as an NDA, of course the criminals who have abused Mr Wright, under the color of authority, for the last 17 yrs will never admit any wrong doing.

And it won't cost them a dime.

Oakland PD, LAPD, Torrance PD, and NOW LAPD again.

All four citizens so abused, went to court and WON. But due to "SETTLEMENTS". NONE WERE PUBLISHED by the court. And as such, cannot be cited as PRECEDENCE in any future cases.

So this means that even though Ca LEA now have a HISTORY, of abusing citizens 2A RIGHTS in this same exact manner. That citing "Jessop v Fresno".

They are still free to do the exact same thing to other citizens, NEXT WEEK OR NEXT YEAR, OR NEXT DECADE.

BOHICA, just a matter of time. Have the KY, Vaseline, or lube of choice at hand.

As I recall, public entities are not allowed to enter into nondisclosure agreements, and any settlement must be approved by a vote of the particular entity.

Status report on settlement 1/14/2022

Settlement is almost finalized and City Council will have to approve the settlement. They requested the next status report be set to happen no later than 4/14/2022, and the judge ordered it so some days later.

If I'm not mistaken, if City Council has to approve the settlement, even if they do so in closed session, the settlement becomes a public record that can be requested under PRA (at least once the case is finalized).

He will wind up with less than half the value of the gun collection that was stolen from him, and mostly destroyed, under color of authority. And that was their 2005 valuation.

CRIME DOES PAY IF YOU ARE A CROOK WITH CONNECTINS. LIKE A CHIEF OF POLICE BADGE.

At the very least, Chucky Beck should spend a couple of years in GenPop. Getting beat to hell daily and being Bubba's Butt Beotch! That would be at least a little justice.

Instead he will enjoy the rest of his days collecting close to $300,000 a yr and full medical. On the dime of those he screwed every chance he got.

No longer any need to wonder why Law Abiding Citizens just Can't trust the cops.

LAPD contacts a judge and asks for an order to destroy 400 firearms. The judge ever ask "Has the owner been contacted?"

If the cops lie to the judge isn't there a charge for that?
