Yeah there have been a few models like that one that I was tempted by... I have two Ratweilers otherwise that INFI version woulda been a lock... it was in my cart at some point hahah.Since SR-101 is tough as hell... and really IMHO the benefit of INFI is that it is more stainless... coated INFI is kind of silly even though I have a TGLB in Tanker Grey. The DC or sand blasted finish makes more sense to me.

Yeah don't expect to see any actual in-hand knife pics from owners for up to a year hahah. That's a good thing sometimes. They charge a dollar and then the balance a couple weeks before shipping... if it takes 6-12 months you can cancel at any time should the mood strike.

Definitely some nice looking smaller knives. If I wanted something Ratmandu size I'd look at those. The field knife is cool, but should be for $375.

People can still wait that long? Man... if I have to wait three months for a made-to-order holster I start climbing the walls, but at least it's quality stuff. Imagine how millennials feel about waiting any longer than Prime shipping!

Along the same lines, my Midway package should be here tomorrow! It's only 10 miles away, but probably not going to make it into SF proper until tomorrow morning, then delivered afternoon. It's okay, the wait is worth it! Got mag parts, mag pouches and a knife, but all I really care about is the knife!

5.6 ounces for 5.5" blade? I'll take one! Best price I found was on Midway, in case anyone is interested

The Recon 1 was tossed in there to show slimness of the Frenzy

The Frenzy is a nice looking blade. Is the back lock spring really stiff to close?

Feels like the tri ad needs to be broken in. Kinda gets a gritty sticky feeling at times. Similar to a gritty break away torque, if you can relate to that. So far the spring stiffness feels on par with the Talwar. Got it tucked IWB of mountain bike shorts right now and its slimness and light weight are very apparent

I have a Spyderco Ulize and the lock back was Effing tough... I took it apart and made it less severe, bending the spring. Nice and pleasant now.

Yes sir, get one, you won't regret it. Been carrying it since I got it.

My EDC before this was the S110V Manix 2 Lightweight. The Shaman is so damn good that I don't care about the weight, it carries very well.

I just do not enjoy carrying that Manix2 Light S110V... there must be someone who loves them but I have too many others that feel better. I'm sure some people hate Yojimbo II's too. The Shaman looks sweet.

Yesterday I purchased a Kizer Pinkerton Little River Bowie from BladeHQ. Apparently BladeHQ did a one-day sale on all Kizer knives. The Little River normally going goes for about 90 bucks but I got it for 50.

Don't have a picture but can't wait to use my Spyderco Pacific Salt H1 steel knife.
I do a lot of salt water fishing and am tired of seeing even my best taken care of blades rust.
H1 steel is impressive and is truly rustproof

Todd Begg Bodega field grade in carbon fiber. Made in Petaluma ca. One of the best knives I've ever owned including many custom made knives costing over $1000.

Another few recently bought favorite are the Tony Marfione and Allen Elishewitz customs. Honestly I could spend all day posting pictures of great knives. I have more knives than firearms in my 5 foot safe.

Pics or it didn't happen.

Older (2011 design?) Columbia River Knife and Tool TPENWK Williams Tactical Pen

It's pretty nice, I don't like that the cap doesn't stay on in pen mode, dislike that on all pens.

A little wisp of a Benchmade... thin and about 1.9 ounces (530).

with my go-to EDC lately the ZT 0909 (6.9 ounces)

The 530 is not substantial and is super thin, not much steel in the handle at all, nothing like a Presidio or Contego... Like a plastic letter opener or something almost. I kind of like it though for a super light little thing.
