POSITION SUMMARY:
Franklin Armory is currently seeking a reliable, hard-working Armorer for our growing company. Must be a self-starter with a good work ethic. In this role, you will be responsible for building our complete line of AR rifles, patented triggers, and our CA series pistols for California. As a valuable part of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting our assembly manufacturing needs while observing the highest standards of safety and quality. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Possess common armory tools for production armoring. • Have a knowledge of multiple weapons platforms. • Inventory products as may be required. • Pull or place products in warehouse as may be needed for production armoring. • Clean, organize and maintain a safe work area and facility. • Make an effort to increase productivity and efficiency without compromising quality. • Work cooperatively with other team members to meet quotas and goals. • Observe safety guidelines and report concerns to management in a timely fashion. • Troubleshoot and resolve problems with production firearms as they may arise. • Demonstrate a positive and professional attitude. DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS: • 3 years experience in the firearms production trade or military armoring. • Ability to follow complex and multi-instructions. • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.). • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: • Must be at least 18 years old. • Knowledge of AR platform and assembly • Demonstrate analytical thinking and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot production issues. • Flexibility and willingness to work overtime if needed. WORKING ENVIRONMENT: • Required to use PPE; Safety Glasses. • Exposed to Chemicals; Commercial products (Oil, Cleaning Solvents, Fumes, Dust Excessive Noise. • Moving Machinery and Equipment. • Lift up to 50lbs. • Bending, Stooping, standing for 10 hours a day. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: • High School diploma or GED. LANGUAGE SKILLS: Must have the ability to read and write in English.
