Default Mystery holster

No luck on an id from Gunboards.

Bought as a Reichsrevolver holster. Also bought a cheapie from Sarco. Realized they don’t match now I don’t know what I have. Leather flap is torn. Can’t restitch due to the fragility of the holes. Flap and holster tool are stamped separate numbers.

Any ideas?

So you have the 1879 Cavalry model Reichsrevolver with the 7.1 inch barrel, a repro 1883 Reichsrevolver Officer's model holster for the 4.6 inch barrel and that damaged holster with a T screw driver that doesn't fit your Cavalry Model revolver.

I tried to find a revolver that came with a T screw driver in its holster but failed. I reviewed a large number of pre-WWI European revolver holsters and failed too. Your pics on https://leatherworker.net/forum/topi...olver-holster/ are much larger but they didn't help my search either.

Sorry, I am just ignorant in this line of inquiry.

On a second try - I think I came close.

Perhaps it is a variant of the Dutch 1873 revolver holster - ?
